Owner of VoGel Nails & Academy.

I am a professional Nail Technician based in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. I have 15 years of experience within the nail industry and work with hard gel only.

The health of my clients nails is and always has been my number 1 priority.

That is why I am passionate about delivering exceptional nail treatments to my clients that are applied with care. This passion has also lead me to become a fully qualified nail tech educator too, ensuring that new technicians are taught the right techniques and practices from day one.

I am extremely proud that VoGel Nails has become a well known and trusted business over the years. Being a nail technician and running my own business has been one of the best decisions I have ever made and I get to work with the most wonderful clients and students each day. I love the job I do and the flexibility it gives me as a mum.

My story began when I was 17 years old and still living in my home country of Germany. I set up in my bedroom and practised by doing nails for friends, family and random strangers (anyone who’d let me basically!) I had 0 knowledge and 0 qualifications but I was determined to make it a success.

After saving enough money to book onto a Nail Course I gained the knowledge and qualifications I needed to open my own business at the age of 19!

After moving to the UK in 20?? I was able to continue my business by setting up a new client base, which grew quickly. Providing an exceptional nail technician service, I was in demand and my business grew from being an independent technician, to opening a salon with several other nail technicians and beauty services based within it.

Becoming an educator was something I was focused on pursuing to ensure other technicians had the very best training before setting up their own businesses. This resulted in a move away from the salon I had set up to focus on my own client base and allowing more time to offer both 1:1 and group nail technician training courses. And this is where you find me today. A nail technician and educator with a wealth of experience, skill and qualifications to help you succeed on your own journey.
